  • What is something you feel prom has to have? regardless of the income you have for it.
How do you plan to check for understanding in the presentation?
  • Having them identify certain things that I taught them through the use of pictures
  • "What did you learn about event planning? or about planning a prom?"

PART 4

What visuals you plan to use and why:
  • Pictures from service learning 
  • Possibly a video
What activity do you plan to do:
  • (Different prom theme in every group) First ask them what decorations, props, food, etc they would want in their prom, according to their theme and each group will be given the same amount of income that they have to work with.
  • Then have them pick out a paper from a bag I will walk around with and every piece of paper will have a problem "their prom has encountered" and they have to come up with a solution for it.

  • Paper/Pens/Pencils
  • Pictures/Ideas for their theme
  • List of prices of everything on checklist
  • Calculators
